In fairness, JD Power has ranked the F-Pace as Fair to Average for Quality & Reliability over the last 5 years. And RepairPal gives it 2.5 stars and ranks it 29th out of 32 manufacturers. I know that no brand is perfect. And I know that certain brands come with a little baggage.

The 3.0 V6 diesel engine found in the F-Pace can suffer from crankshaft failure, this can range from spun main bearings starving the bottom end of oil to the crankshaft actually snapping. September 1, 2022: Appreciating the more serene aspects of the Jaguar F-Pace SVR. A month in and I have calmed down just enough to appreciate aspects of the SVR other than raw power and speed. The F-Pace has now been around for six years, but Ian Callum’s award-winning design has aged well.
Used Jaguar F-Pace reliability. I am about to buy a 2017 Jaguar F-Pace 20d AWD with 100.000km (60.000 miles). The car has been maintained at the dealership and is all well documented. I have one year full warranty from the garage (not an official dealer). My only concern is reliability.
